High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and High Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

In the words of my kiddo.. the High Point Library is GREAT! We enjoy attending many of the events hosted at that the library for kids and adults. Even if you just bring your child to play and socialize, the community culture at the library is very welcoming and there is lots to do. Stem, blenders club, RPG, Lego Club, and many more!! They host specials over the summer like robotics, magic shows, summer reading etc. If you haven't been to the sensory garden, it is worth checking out.

Overall nice library, they had private rooms for study groups and tables for lounging, had a diverse array of books. The staff were also pretty nice, gave nice service with the exception of This security guard and/or officer. When we first got into the study room, I noticed he would constantly peek in and walk rounds, which was fine we didn’t notice much, until we walked out. We were on the third floor and decided to look around at the books. We noticed him almost following us/ lurking. We thought it was somewhat odd but we went about our day. Soon after we when down to the second floor to check out a book, after a while he popped up once again, and was following us. After we found my desired book we headed to the first floor, We were waiting to be picked up in the juvenile section, after a while …..there he was the ANTAGONIST. Lurking around yet again and I noticed he was inching closer to OUR BELONGINGS which consisted of our electronics and school materials. How is it that 4 teenage girls traveling to the nearest public library is suspicious….… We just wanted to study and we felt othered. We felt so uncomfortable that we walked out and we waited there. I also still saw him lurk

This is a very large library with a lot of great resources. My son really enjoyed playing in the children's area where there's a little kitchen set up with lots of pretend food and there are also computers for the kids to use and it looked like some video games. There's an outdoor garden area where kids can play as well find a free kids music class was going on while we were there too. I love that they have such an extensive "borrow an experience" program. You can check out passes to visit the local children's museums and baseball games for free. It took me less than 5 minutes to get a library card there. There is no cost to get a card and you just have to provide your ID to get it. It is not limited to High Point or Guilford county residents.
